New York Ultimate 2026 by BLACH (Maxime Blachère) is a limited XL edition (4/30) from 2026, executed in mixed media on canvas, 90 x 60 cm, signed by the artist.
Description from the seller
New York Ultimate 2026 — BLACH (Maxime Blachère) — Limited XL edition, 90 × 60 cm.
This work offers an explosive vision of the New York skyline where the Big Apple’s iconic architecture blends with BLACH’s saturated colors and characteristic humor. A mythical bridge, monumental skyscrapers and urban perspectives serve as a canvas for a pop, narratively rich universe.
Atop a building, a famous fast-food chain dominates the city, while in the sky planes, a UFO and frantic birds intersect. A base jumper launches from a tower, adding a sense of movement and vertigo.
The artist hides numerous easter eggs: Scrooge McDuck mid-engraving of the city, Bart Simpson hidden under the bridges, Goku camouflaged with his cap tilted, a reinterpreted Mickey, and a giant Invader atop the tallest tower, accompanied by a miniature version of Goldorak. Each detail turns the work into an observation game, revealing a multiple reading between popular culture, street art, and urban satire.
Signature, limited edition and certificate of authenticity included.
A strong piece for contemporary pop art collectors and fans of narratively rich urban scenes.
Print run limited to 30 copies.

Support: Ultra-resistant 450 g/m² canvas, satin finish
