The typical features of this relief printing technique are very well visible here: the motif lives from the strong, graphic contrast between the deep black and the bright orange-red color fields. The clear, often slightly rounded boundaries of the shapes arise from removing the recessed areas from the soft linoleum plate. On the color surfaces, the fine texture of the paper and the printing block is partially visible.

Die typischen Merkmale dieser Hochdrucktechnik sind hier sehr gut zu erkennen: Das Motiv lebt von dem starken, grafischen Kontrast zwischen den tiefschwarzen und den leuchtend orangeroten Farbflächen. Die klaren, oft leicht abgerundeten Begrenzungen der Formen entstehen durch das Herausschneiden der vertieften Partien aus der weichen Linoleumplatte. Auf den Farbflächen zeichnet sich stellenweise die feine Beschaffenheit des Papiers und des Druckstocks ab.
