Traditional Japanese Satsuma statue of Kannon (Guanyin). Originating from the Meiji period, depicted standing in an elaborately decorated robe and holding a scroll (symbol of wisdom). The Bodhisattva Guanyin is the goddess of mercy. She radiates calm, wisdom and peace. The statue is in very good condition. A hairline crack at the bottom right. Please examine the photos carefully. These are part of the description.

Japans traditioneel Satsuma-beeld van Kannon (Guanyin). Afkomstig uit de Meiji-periode, staand afgebeeld in rijkelijk versierd gewaad en een boekrol (symbool voor wijsheid) vasthoudend. Bodhisattva Guanyin is de godin van barmhartigheid. Zij straalt rust, wijsheid en vrede uit. Het beeld is in hele goede staat. Onderaan rechts een haarlijn. Bekijk de foto’s zorgvuldig. Deze zijn onderdeel van de beschrijving. 
Hoogte 30 cm. Wordt uiterst zorgvuldig en verzekerd verzonden.
