Description from the seller
Great future collector's item: Duesenberg's cooperation with Joe Walsh (guitar-player of The Eagles): Joe Walsh Alliance.
Beautiful and amazing electric guitar (semi-solid body) of the German top brand Duesenberg (the Mercedes-Benz of electric guitars! Model: Joe Walsh Alliance, in black/gold with the Custom Radiator Vibrato Unit, which is the evolution of the vibrato system design. Extras include custom gold-toned accents on the vibrato.
Semi-hollow construction: the guitar features an unusual extra-slim semi-hollow construction. Besides the unique semi-hollow tone, this makes the guitar handle more like a thin solid-body. The pickups are the Little Toaster mini-humbucker and Single Twin Mini noiseless single-coil, delivering an extremely open, very responsive and transparent tone. A polished fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. All made by hand.
The Joe Walsh Alliance Series features numerous different details connected to Joe Walsh's style or history (solo work and his playing with The Eagles). The fretboard inlays spell his name in morse code, referencing his passion for radio operation, and the Tibetan Knot between both pickups is a symbol of a very personal meaning to Joe Walsh which he also carries as a tattoo.
Artists like Elvis Costello, Slash, Robert Palmer, Eric Burdon, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood play on this kind of guitar. The neck is traditionally glued-in maple, one-piece Maple, D-shaped, Indian rosewood fingerboard, inlays (Morse-code inlays: Pearloid dots). Body is laminated spruce, back & sides: laminated flamed maple. Binding: cream, 5-layer purfling. Pickguards: gold sparkle. All hardware is nickel hardware, which has a beautiful warm and elegant sheen and ages naturally over time. The geometrical three-step motif appears in almost every part of the instrument, from the curves on the headstock to the shape of the output jack. Shape: medium D.
The guitar comes with the original Duesenberg hard case.
This guitar is in perfect shape: no buds no damage. In fact, this guitar has hardly been used and was never on stage.
