Aluminum sculpture commercially manufactured (extinguisher) and customized, hand-finished by the Artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the painting finish by the artist and not to the base object, the extinguisher.
Only painted, no stickers for a homogeneous finish and better longevity.

Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.

Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that had to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot Champagne, and Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addiction in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work: it is an empty (gas) fire extinguisher for recovery that may feature surface defects visible through the paint. (Obviously it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels or the pin are missing).
