Description from the seller
Sculpture Chanel n°5 Glitter like a brick of milk!
Instagram: XTC.Artist
plastic box entirely painted by the artist, vinyl, glitter, varnish.
The glass is not provided ;) (unusual object, cannot be used for drinking!)
Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already thin boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
HAND-FINISHED « Sculpture manufactured for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and vinyl. »
