Historic and important work by Salvatore Emblema from 1982, the year in which Salvatore Emblema had a solo gallery space at the Venice Biennale. Emblema was selected to exhibit inside the Italy Pavilion, curated that year by art historian Luciano Caramel. His works were placed within the section titled Genius Loci, where he could present his famous pieces based on transparency and the de-texturing of the canvas.
Thanks to a recent collaboration with the renowned international gallery White Cube, Emblema’s figure is experiencing a great revival on international markets.

The work in the lower right presents a halo (see photo). It could potentially undergo a restoration intervention or be kept as is, since it does not affect the artist's intervention area.
