For sale is an original color lithograph by Joan Miró (1893–1983) from the series “Oda a Joan Miró,” created in 1973.

The work was published in Spain within the milieu of Edicions Polígrafa, Barcelona, and shows Miró’s characteristic pictorial language with bold black signs, organic forms, and high-contrast color fields in red, blue, green, and yellow.

The composition combines free graphic elements with a playfully abstract form language and is a typical example of Miró’s printmaking from the 1970s.

In the lower right area there is Miró’s Signature in the printing image / on the plate. It is therefore not a later pencil signature.

The gallery label expressly designates the work as an *Original Color Lithograph“ and bears the date 22.07.1997. The sheet subsequently belonged to a private collection.
