A pair of slender Raku-ware matcha bowls: one Black Raku and one Red Raku.

This set features a Black Raku bowl from the Shoraku Kiln (supervised by Sasaki Shoraku) and a Red Raku bowl bearing the "Shoraku(正楽)" mark.
Both bowls have a slender, elongated profile with a smaller diameter than standard matcha bowls.

The Black Raku bowl is a creation of the Shoraku Kiln, supervised by the renowned Kyoto master Sasaki Shoraku; it features distinctive, character-rich traces of hand-molding and spatula work.

The Red Raku bowl is striking for its black glaze accents and the spatula marks covering its lower section.
