This spectacular XXL-format print, made in Brazil with an Olga 120 film camera
This edition, shown at the Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles, is the first print in a limited edition of 10 copies in this format.
The photograph, coming directly from BEN DAUCHEZ's studio, is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity written and signed by the photographer himself.
Format: 40X120
Support: digital print on pearl Fine Art paper. It has never been framed.
The work will be insured, carefully packed, and shipped promptly.
About BEN DAUCHEZ:
Passionate about photography from a very young age, Ben began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle (France). There he acquired the full range of photographic basics—from classic technique to shooting and post-production, through the lab.
At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to further his training by becoming a set photographer's assistant for the Daguerre studios, when Le Petit Oiseau va sortir and Studio Zéro were being developed.
Ben has had the chance to collaborate with and assist some of the most talented photographers: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM...
From certain decisive encounters emerged beautiful projects and long collaborations, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry exhibition INRI and its eponymous book published by Editions Albin Michel), Peter BEARD (Pirelli calendar 2009 in Botswana).
His photos have been published, among others, by Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, WallPaper, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Vogue, Dandy Magazine…
His world also attracts brands with very different identity codes for which he has authored institutional and/or advertising campaigns: Dior (beauty), L'Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris, or Burger King (advertising awarded at the Dubai Lynx), PEUGEOT Motorcycles, ...
He has also created numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody ALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, Blake Lively…) of beauty, world’s men (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA...) and travelers...
This photographic path has since allowed him to freely immortalize the human beauty, aesthetics, and spiritual essence of each personality.
