Gerriet Postma, artist’s name Gerriet, (Twijzelerheide 1932 - Groningen 2009) was a Dutch painter and visual artist.
Postma could be described as a fiery man who created intense paintings with paint bursts and color clusters in which figuration shines through.
His motto was: 'Live as I paint, paint as I live. I am only paint' (text by Simon Vinkenoog. A copy of the text can be provided if desired, see photo).

Postma was te omschrijven als een hevige man die heftige schilderijen maakte met verfexplosies en kleurkluwens waarin figuratie doorschemert.
