Caroline Mandrafina (XX) - Zomers Provençaals Landschap

This pair comprises two original oil paintings that stylistically, thematically, and in terms of size fit together perfectly and form an impressive whole on the wall.

Both works are executed in her highly sought-after and recognizable 'mosaic style'. Inspired by classical stained glass and mosaic art, Mandrafina builds her South of France landscapes with thick, impasto layers of oil paint (applied with a palette knife) that are tightly outlined in black.
