Description from the seller

Omega Constellation Day-Date "Manhattan", one of the most distinctive and collectible lines of the historic Swiss house, originally introduced in the early 1980s and kept in vogue until the 1990s.

Main Features of the Model

The four "claws" (Claws or Griffes): Positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock, they are the most famous stylistic element of the Manhattan design. They were initially created with the functional purpose of securing the sapphire crystal and the gasket to guarantee water resistance, but they have become an iconic aesthetic detail of the Constellation line.

The bezel with Roman numerals: This version features the numbers engraved directly on the satin-finished steel bezel, radially positioned.

The multifunction dial (Day-Date): It features a symmetrical two-subdial display:
The left sub-dial indicates the day of the week (SUN, MON, TUE...).
The right sub-dial indicates the date of the month (from 1 to 31).

Blue-bronze hands: The blue hands create a high-contrast color against the light background of the dial.

Movement: This configuration is typically powered by a high-precision electronic quartz movement signed Omega (such as Caliber 1444 or 1445), common for vintage references of this period (e.g. Ref. 396.1070 / 396.1080 or similar).
