Montblanc - 252 - No reserve price - Fountain pen

A vintage Montblanc Meisterstück 252 piston-filler fountain pen
Germany (West-Germany), mid-to-late 1950s.

This pen carries a unique piece of industrial history, bearing a sharp, factory-crisp gold-infilled engraving for the historic German engineering corporation "J.M. Voith G.m.b.H." on the cap.

Fitted with its original, elegant 14-karat solid gold open wing-style nib, stamped "14C MONTBLANC 585". It features a smooth Medium (M) tipping profile.

The primary material of the pen body and cap is precious resin (specifically an early form of injection-molded acrylic resin/celluloid derivative used by Montblanc in the 1950s). The metal components including the clip, cap bands, and mechanical internal accents are gold-plated brass. The nib itself is made of 14-karat solid gold (stamped 14C / 585).

The blind cap knob features sharp, crisp factory heat-stamps: "252" on one side and "M" on the other.

Excellent vintage condition. No visible cracks or hairline fractures anywhere on the cap lip or resin barrel. Only normal, age-appropriate surface scratches are present. The built-in telescopic piston filling mechanism turns perfectly smooth, has been tested, and is in full working order. It draws, holds, and seals fluid flawlessly.
