Davide Serrano is an Italian-Spanish painter whose research explores the fragile relationship between instinct and consciousness through the human figure and recurring symbolic presences, notably the eagle. His works fuse references to classical tradition with a contemporary painting language, where fragmented color, matter and monumental bodies generate a suspended psychological tension.
Between strength and vulnerability, Serrano's figures appear caught in moments of introspection, conflict or transformation, suggesting an inner dialogue between primal impulse and human awareness. His practice stems from a search for emotional truth, in which the body becomes at once subject and metaphor.
