it was a challenge to interpret this limited edition correctly, to choose the right homage to Michelangelo as he would define himself: to be a sculptor, and also painter, architect, poet.
his poetry on sculpture (in rhyme 151) where the artist reveals the man who hides form within the material, conceptually guided the development of our homage.
and so omas presents the writing instrument with Carrara marble rigorously, containing the inspiration within it, as the Michelangelo sculpture does.
