An exceptional time document from the Paris art world of the 1960s: This original lithographic poster was created in connection with the Francis Bacon exhibition at the Maeght Gallery in 1966.
The work combines the function of a historical exhibition poster with the special aura of an authentic document from a decisive phase in Bacon's international career.
