Description from the seller

Alfred Dunhill Tinder Pistol Table Lighter – Patent 592139

Rare and highly collectible Dunhill "Tinder Pistol" table lighter, designed in the form of an antique flintlock pistol. This iconic novelty lighter was produced under British Patent No. 592139 and is regarded as one of Dunhill's most distinctive post-war designs.

Featuring a detailed cast-metal body with a simulated flintlock mechanism and wooden-style grip, the lighter combines functionality with decorative appeal. A sought-after piece among collectors of Dunhill, tobacciana, and vintage design objects.

The lighter is in very good condition considering its age and has been well preserved. To restore sparking functionality, it will require the appropriate consumable components (flint, fuel, and any necessary servicing).
Marked: "DUNHILL TINDER PISTOL – MADE IN ENGLAND – PAT. 592139".

NOTE: For collectors who prefer a flawless appearance, any imperfections can be assessed and, if desired, professionally restored by a specialist experienced in working with this type of material or item.

Shipping: The item will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking. Insurance is included in the shipping fee. Any customs duties, taxes or import fees are the buyer's responsibility.
