One of Lorenzo Quinn's best-known sculptures, among his commissions is The Tree of Life, produced for the United Nations and issued by the organization as a stamp in 1993.

Also, 'The Tree of Life' in donation sculpture, was erected in front of St. Martin's Church (Birmingham) in 2005 to commemorate those who died in the city's bombing during World War II.

The contemporary Italian artist Lorenzo Quinn is a world-renowned sculptor, particularly known for his deft use of hands to convey authentic emotions and abstract concepts such as love and faith. Quinn's sculptures have been prominently placed in cities around the world, including major corporate and philanthropic commissions for leading organizations.

Quinn draws inspiration from masters such as Michelangelo, Bernini and Rodin.

Working from his studio and foundry near Barcelona, he uses traditional lost-wax casting techniques to create his sculptures. Internationally exhibited, both Quinn's monumental public art and his smaller, more intimate pieces convey his passion for capturing enduring values and authentic emotions in his work.

“The Tree of Life is like our family tree; we will reap what we have sown.

The tree needs nourishment and guidance so that it can grow strong and healthy and be able to cast shade over all those who come to rest beneath its majestic branches. The Tree of Life is what keeps the world breathing; it surrounds it with its gentle breath and protects it so that future generations can also enjoy it.”
