RINGER presents Tableau sculpture: Catch the Sun XL, an original 75 × 50 cm mixed‑media artwork on canvas with a resin banana sculpture and acrylic markers, created in 2026 in the Pop Art / Culture Pop style, signed by hand on the board, originating from France and sold by Galerie, with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
The buyer of the artwork Comedian (the famous duct-taped banana by Maurizio Cattelan) is the entrepreneur and billionaire Justin Sun, founder of the cryptocurrency platform Tron. He acquired the work for $6.2 million at a Sotheby’s auction in New York in November 2024, before eating the banana himself in public a few days later.
The Catch the Sun artwork is there to underline all the absurdities one can encounter today in contemporary art.

Ringer is a fascinating French artist; she mainly draws inspiration from expressive movements such as Surrealism, Hyperrealism, the COBRA movement, the chiaroscuro of Edward Hopper, and the works of David Hockney, Picasso, and Basquiat. She is also an artist who moves in the spheres of Pop Art and Street Art.
For Catawiki, Ringer (maiden name of his mother) has been exploring for more than two years the extraordinary facets of the works of Hopper, Hockney, Basquiat, Picasso, Cattelan, American abstract painting, as well as staged scenes around themes of luxury, cars, romance, etc. These works, first created in Photoshop, then refined with various materials such as sculpture, spray paint, and acrylic markers, are a call to dream, to luxury, to serenity, and will find their place in your home.
