The buyer of the work Comedian (the famous taped banana by Maurizio Cattelan) is the entrepreneur and billionaire Justin Sun, founder of the cryptocurrency platform Tron. He acquired the work for 6.2 million dollars at Sotheby’s auction in New York in November 2024, before eating the banana himself in public a few days later.
The work No More is there to highlight all the absurdity that one can encounter today in contemporary art.
