Description from the seller

Aris Knikker (1887-1962)
Dimensions of the work: 45 x 65 cm
Signature: Lower left

Provenance: from a Dutch private collection

Aris Knikker received his training at the academy in The Hague and spent almost his entire life living in the capital. Initially he was a ceramic painter at Rozenburg, later he turned to free, unconstrained painting. His preference lay in painting atmospheric water landscapes and farmyards.

Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framers, who are celebrating their 85th anniversary this year. Furthermore, we use restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. The condition concerns only the work. If you would like to make use of this, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
