Description from the seller

Important Baroque-Rococo-style ornamental vase with a lid featuring a hand-modeled putto, rich embossed floral decoration, and a silvered glossy finish – Italy, circa 1965–1980.

Impressive and scenic ornamental vase with a lid in artistic Italian ceramic, inspired by the elegance of Baroque-Rococo taste, characterized by an extremely rich three-dimensional decoration and a refined silvered glaze finish with a strong visual impact.

The entire surface is adorned with embossed panels decorated and hand-painted entirely by hand with delicate floral motifs in shades of pink and green, enhanced by elegant gold detailing. The glossy metallic finish creates a striking reflective effect that enhances the ceramic modeling and gives the work a significant presence on display.

The lid is topped by a refined hand-modeled putto, while numerous gilded floral accents, distributed harmoniously across the body of the vase and lid, are embellished with original red glass cabochons, all perfectly preserved and complete. The feet also feature rich raised decorative elements, made with great attention to detail.

The work was produced through ceramic modeling, subsequent glazing, manual decoration, and the application of numerous ornamental elements—a process that requires multiple execution stages and gives the piece depth, decorative richness, and a high aesthetic quality.

The base bears the hand-painted number 106, accompanied by an illegible handwritten manufacturing sigla, Italy.
