Through my photographic work, I often aim to reveal a quiet, universal emotion. Animals, in their gaze and presence, sometimes carry a depth that returns us to ourselves.
With this image, I wanted to capture a moment that seems almost human: a moment of pure reflection. As if this gorilla carried within it an ancient question, that of our origins and our place in the world.
My work is often influenced by solitude, contemplation, and the deep connection between man and nature.
