Sujatno Koempoel RA (1912–1987) was born in Ngawi, East Java. He belonged to the generation of Prawirodidjo, known as Pangeran Sentot Ali Basah Prawirodirjo. Koempoel attended a school at the HIS (Hollandsch-Inlandsche School) and/or a technical school, through which he developed a solid knowledge of perspective. In addition, he was a pupil of two renowned artists: G.P. Adolfs and Willem van der Does. During his life Koempoel produced more than 2,500 works of art. A large part of them, however, has over time been damaged or lost.

Dimensions: 42 x 60 cm
Dimensions with frame: 52 x 70 cm

Viewing is of course possible. Additionally we have our own in-house frame shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore we make use of restorers from the industry association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to use this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
