GINO FARINA - “XXXL” HALO.EXE

HALO.EXE explores identity as a system in constant updating. The halo, reinterpreted from a contemporary language, ceases to represent perfection and becomes a symbol of transformation. Between the realism of the portrait and the spontaneity of the pictorial gesture

The .EXE figure is “executing” a new version of itself. The halo stops being a traditional religious symbol and becomes a metaphor of inner transformation, intervened by time, experiences and the creative chaos that the strokes and drips represent.
