The pen body is masterfully crafted in the famous precious black resin, whose smooth, deep surface offers an extremely pleasant tactile sensation. To create an extraordinarily elegant and visually striking contrast, details in solid metal are featured, enhanced by a bright rose gold plating. However, in keeping with our usual and rigorous policy of total transparency, we must report the presence of an evident and specific aesthetic defect localized on the front cone of the nib. As clearly documented in the close-up photograph, on the smooth portion of the nib, just above the knurled grip, there is localized wear/flaking of the rose gold plating, which clearly reveals the underlying silver-colored metal base.
