“The Accordion” is a 100×70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García.

The work presents a woman embraced by a large accordion that dominates almost the entire composition. The instrument, depicted in an intense range of oranges, blacks and whites, unfolds in strong diagonals that provide rhythm and movement to the scene, while the female figure integrates with it through an elegant and expressive posture.
The olive green background enhances the contrast of the warm tones and makes the geometry of the keys and the bellows stand out.
