Geordanis Aquilera Horta (1981) - Que Pinga

Geordanis Aquilera Horta was born in Havana, Cuba, on August 26, 1981. In 2000 he came to Holland where he researched all forms of art that were not available in Cuba. His work stood out for its clear and bold use of color and fast, powerful brushwork, and soon this earned him his first exhibition. A year later he won the first prize at the Noordwijk aan Zee painting festival. The jury, including Hedy d'Acona, praised his precise brushwork and the authenticity of his work. Horta is particularly distinguished by his use of color.
