Very rare UNIQUE PIECE!
Mixed media with various pens on a brown parchment envelope, which was used at the time for shipment to a collector, as also indicated by the postmark stamps on it; back then it was partly a playful practice by artists to send or sign objects under pseudonyms, as here in the sender address with "Eberhard", which certainly referred to the artist and his successor as professor of the Art Academy, "Eberhard Haverkost"!
As another proof of authenticity, also the visiting card included at the time, handwritten by the artist! Do not be misled by the postal code. The card lay in the envelope in a clear plastic sleeve, probably an old visiting card of the artist that he used for the message.
This already under glass-framed, unique lot, which, in the same form and size, has since been sold at auction houses such as Van Ham for a mid four-figure euro amount, is referred to by the title
