In Liquid Dialogue, the apparent lightness of the subject becomes the pretext for a refined exploration of form, movement, and perception. The yellow figures emerge from the aquatic surface as autonomous presences, creating a visual rhythm made of gazes, directions, and distances, while the foam introduces a surprisingly complex tactile texture. The contrast between the plastic solidity of the shapes and the fluidity of the water builds a continuous dialogue between matter and movement, transforming a everyday and playful scene into a composition of strong visual balance and subtle contemporary irony.

Sandra Chinelate, Brazilian, works on the physical and existential inquiry carried out with the tools of figurative painting. A graduate in letters, and as a child a self-taught artist, she moved to Italy and, influenced by her multifaceted sociolinguistic outlook, conducts her artistic research with the aim of promoting an encounter among different social subjects, where different ages, skin colors, passions, and human perplexities are contemplated from a strong desire on the part of the artist to exalt their facets, safeguarding her characters from any pre-judgment. She devoted herself with equal fervor to the search for detail, of light, of perspective in her beloved hyperrealism, in which she has specialized since her first artistic experiments. Since 2005 she has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows. She works with oil and mixed media on canvas and panel.
For the catalog of one of her most important solo exhibitions, she was reviewed by the Roman art critic Lea Mattarella, at the end of which review she wrote: “and if there is pain, if there is fatigue, Chinelate makes use of the words of Rumi, the medieval Sufi poet, convinced that ‘the wound is the point from which light can penetrate into you’.”
This rule she applies to the human soul she depicts as to objects, all in equal balance in importance and order.
