Thomson TO7 set from 1982, including a TO7 and a TO7/70 computer with a MK 90-090 cassette recorder, MEMO7 cartridges, cassettes and documentation, described as a non-fully tested collection of French microcomputers kept in very good condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Set of French Thomson microcomputers from the 1980s.
The lot includes:
* 1 Thomson TO7 computer
* 1 Thomson TO7/70 computer
* 1 Thomson MK 90-090 program recorder/player
* Several MEMO7-format cartridges or modules, including one cartridge placed in the TO7 drive
* 1 educational cassette “My first addition programs with the turtle”
* Several cassettes recorded with handwritten notes
* Thomson documentation
* Cables and other accessories visible in the photographs
The devices, the cassette recorder, the cartridges and the magnetic media have not been tested recently. The lot is therefore offered as-is, with no warranty of functioning, for collection, restoration or spare parts.
The contents of unlabeled cartridges and recorded cassettes could not be verified. Proper loading of programs cannot be guaranteed.
The lot shows normal signs of age and use: dust, marks, small stains, superficial scratches and yellowing of plastics. No thorough cleaning or restoration has been performed.
The Thomson TO7, marketed from 1982, and the TO7/70 that followed occupy an important place in the history of French microcomputing. These machines are notably associated with the development of educational computing in French schools during the 1980s.
The sale concerns only the two computers, the cassette recorder, the cartridges, the cassettes, the documentation and accessories presented as part of the lot. Any device only partially visible on the periphery of the photographs is excluded from the sale.
Please carefully review all photographs, which are an integral part of the description.
The computers and the reader will be packed and protected separately. The cartridges and cassettes will be packed separately in the parcel. Tracked shipping.
