Description from the seller

The S.T. Dupont Saint-Germain fountain pen is presented in very good condition, showing an elegant, well-kept appearance that reflects moderate and respectful use over time.

The gold-plated metal body with longitudinal ribbed decoration preserves a very attractive shine, with a uniform finish that enhances the classic aesthetic characteristic of this line from the French maison. Minor superficial micro-markings related to use and the passage of time are observable only under close inspection, without affecting at all the overall aesthetics or the finish integrity.

The cap in dark resin with vertical stripe pattern maintains an excellent presence, with a clean and well-preserved surface. The gold-plated elements, including the clip and decorative rings, are in very good condition, with the plating bright and without visible losses.

The cap band engraved with “S.T. Dupont Paris” is sharp and perfectly legible, maintaining the definition of the engravings.

The gold nib is well aligned and retains an excellent presence, with a clean surface and no deformations. The feeder appears intact and properly seated. The pen has been serviced and tested, and is fully functional and ready for use.

Overall, this is a very well-preserved piece, with the classic appeal of S.T. Dupont writing instruments and a refined presence that makes it an excellent option for both collection and everyday use.

Care recommendations

To preserve the good condition of this fountain pen, it is recommended to use high-quality inks intended for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks or inks with particles. If the pen will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to clean it with lukewarm water, dry it carefully before storing, and keep it in a dry place, without direct exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures. It is also recommended to operate the filling system gently to ensure proper long-term preservation.

It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
