Tatiana Cardellicchio - The Ceremonial Bloom

In a black background, a female figure emerges with the solemnity of an antique portrait. The white dress, long and monumental, is threaded with floral appliqués that transform the body into a quasi-ceremonial presence. The copper of the hair and the small golden accents of the flowers interrupt the scene’s severity, creating a contrast between delicacy and authority.

The work calls to mind the composure and chiaroscuro of Flemish portraiture, reinterpreted through a contemporary language. The figure appears suspended outside time: the face is visible, but the restrained pose and the dress that amplifies her proportions introduce a distance, transforming the individual portrait into a symbolic image of identity, beauty, and representation.

The work is a fine art Giclée print realized on premium satin 270 g paper in a limited edition of 20 copies in this size, printed using Epson UltraChrome HD that ensures rich color reproduction and exceptional longevity, representing the industry standard.

Edition limited: 20 copies, each signed and numbered on the back.
Authenticity: each copy is accompanied by a stamped and hand-signed certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing provenance and uniqueness of the work. Inside the shipment there is also a page dedicated to the description of the shot and the photographer’s biography.

Tatiana Cardellicchio was born in Lecce, where the southern light becomes visual matter. Trained in Photography at the Institute of Photography, she has always moved between the visual arts and identity research. In 2025 she received an honorable mention at the Best Photography Award, In 2024 she received the Silver Medal at the Prix de la Photographie (PX3), a recognition that honors the quiet strength of her gaze.
