The work comes from Studio la Città Gallery in Verona where Gastini held a solo exhibition on February 19, 1995.
On ten invitations, the artist created ten unique works, all different from each other, forming an abstract composition using pastels, acrylics, and vinyl glues.
Some attached photographs were taken at 45 degrees or in backlight to reveal the sheen of the vinyl glues and of some pearlescent acrylic pigments.
The measurements indicated on the label on the back of the frame are incorrect as they state 25 x 64 cm but are actually 27 x 69.5 cm.
The work is housed in an open frame (shadow gap) of 33 x 95 cm with Plexiglas in front (the Plexiglas has some scratches).
The work was purchased by me directly from Studio la Città Gallery in Verona on June 10, 2023, and the description of the work was provided to me by Helene De Franchis, founder and art historian of the gallery.
