Still life with flowers by the Belgian artist Leo Van Droogenbroeck (1905–1995). Oil on canvas, signed in the upper right. The work shows a colorful flower still life with several flowers in a vase. The painting is fitted with a wooden frame.

The work is in reasonable condition, appropriate for its age. There are visible craquelure, signs of aging, and light wear to the painting surface. The condition is clearly visible in the attached photos.

Leo Van Droogenbroeck was a Belgian painter and sculptor, born in Antwerp in 1905 and died in Sint-Joost-ten-Node in 1995. He studied at the Academy of Brussels and is known for, among other things, still lifes, flowers, landscapes and harbor and river views. His work is characterized by an impressionistic brushwork.

Stilleven met bloemen van de Belgische kunstenaar Leo Van Droogenbroeck (1905–1995). Olieverf op doek, gesigneerd rechtsboven. Het werk toont een kleurrijk bloemstilleven met verschillende bloemen in een vaas. Het schilderij is voorzien van een houten lijst.

Het werk verkeert in redelijke staat, passend bij de ouderdom. Er zijn zichtbare craquelé, ouderdomssporen en lichte slijtage aan het schilderoppervlak. De staat is duidelijk zichtbaar op de bijgevoegde foto’s.

Leo Van Droogenbroeck was een Belgische schilder en beeldhouwer, geboren in Antwerpen in 1905 en overleden in Sint-Joost-ten-Node in 1995. Hij volgde een opleiding aan de Academie van Brussel en is bekend om onder andere stillevens, bloemen, landschappen en haven- en riviergezichten. Zijn werk wordt gekenmerkt door een impressionistische schildertoets.
