Precious Vintage Tabletop Lighter Enamelled in 800 Silver and Resin – Classical Style
Lot Description
Splendid and elegant vintage tabletop lighter of Italian manufacture, dating from the mid-20th century. The body of the object features an internal core covered by an external shell in 800 silver, as confirmed by the "800" hallmark regularly impressed on the base.
Aesthetically, the silver displays refined workmanship with details and frames reminiscent of classical/Florentine style (inspired by lily motifs), enhanced by the magnificent patina of time. The internal structure is made of resin, likely ivory/cream-white plastic.
The upper ignition mechanism is a classic removable chrome-plated metal insert, which shows signs of age and wear, as clearly visible in the photographic gallery. The wheel bears signs of wear and rust due to age and use; no specific brand is identifiable on the mechanical part.
A high-class collectible piece, ideal as a luxurious decorative accessory or desk item.
