Macallan Edition No. 4 - The Macallan - 70cl

Macallan Edition No. 4 2018 is an exceptional sherry-matured Macallan single malt. This limited release was bottled in 2018 to celebrate the opening of Macallan’s new distillery, and embodies the distillery’s values of craftsmanship and innovative design. It matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned oak casks hand picked by Master Distiller Nick Savage, including first-fill European oak sherry casks from Tevasa, first-fill American oak sherry casks from Vasyma and refill butts and hogsheads. Macallan Edition No. 4 2018 is a zesty, vibrant and invigorating single malt with aromas of honey, sweet apple, orange zest, ginger, nutmeg and polished oak. The palate opens with nutmeg, wood spices and green cloves. Sweet toffee and vanilla then bring a soft mouthcoating texture. The finish is long lasting with fruit and an oaky sweetness.
