Allen Jones (1937) - Shining, Sparkling, Shocking

A striking and highly collectible set of three “Les Beaux Arts – Design Edition No. 2” perfume bottles featuring sculptural high-heel designs by renowned British pop artist Allen Jones (b. 1937).

This exceptional limited set comprises all three available color variations, each featuring a beautifully sculpted high-heel stopper. Each variation is limited to 9999 pieces world wide and was released in 1993.

The bottles combine perfume, sculpture and contemporary design, reflecting Allen Jones’ fascination with the female form, fashion and high-heel imagery. Rather than being ordinary perfume bottles, these pieces were conceived as limited-edition design objects and collectible works of art.

Each bottle is a substantial 100 ml glass perfume bottle with a sculptural metal stopper and the characteristic Les Beaux Arts – Design Edition branding. The bottles are empty.

These unusual and visually impressive pieces are particularly appealing to collectors of Allen Jones, Pop Art, artist-designed perfume bottles, contemporary sculpture and 20th-century design.

Condition: All three sculptures and bottles are in a good condition. There are some small points on the painted metal cast sculptures where the paint is off. You can see it on the images. The boxes and the certificates I am unfortunately not able to find anymore so they are not included in this lot.
