Product Description
This item is a hōmongi (訪問着), a traditional Japanese kimono worn on semi-formal occasions such as weddings and tea ceremonies. The ground features a fine scattered pattern of grey and white (in a kanoko/shibori style) applied across the entire garment, giving the kimono an elegant overall texture.
At the hem and front panels, the ground transitions to a deep navy (a dark, near-black indigo), where small chrysanthemums, clover-like flowers, and leaves are depicted in colors including gold, light green, pale blue, and orange.
