Montblanc Meisterstück Solitaire Czar Nikolai I fountain pen in LeGrand size, with a sterling silver vermeil barrel and cap, malachite finial, 18k two‑tone nib, 145 mm length, 15 mm diameter, gold plated and made in Germany from the late 1990s, in good used condition with minor wear and a small cap gilt rim chip; no box or papers; fully inked and working.

Fountain pen from Montblanc's special-edition Meisterstück Solitaire series "Czar Nikolai I"
Barrel and cap in sterling silver vermeil (925 silver with gold plating), with "925" hallmark visible on the barrel. Cap set with a natural malachite finial, showing the characteristic natural banding of the stone. Two-tone 18k gold nib, engraved with the Montblanc emblem, the "4810" reference number, and the "18K" fineness mark.
Condition
No original box or papers.
Tested with ink and confirmed in full working order (writing sample photo included).
Large/LeGrand size.
Visible light wear to the gold plating in high-contact areas (barrel ridges, cap rim), with spotting from oxidation of the underlying silver, consistent with genuine use over 25+ years.
Small chip to the gilt rim at the top of the cap (see detail photo).

Special-edition series from Montblanc dating to the late 1990s, part of the brand's line of pens honoring historical figures (here, Tsar Nicholas II of Russia).
