Cartier - Oval - Pocket lighter - Silver plated

This slim Cartier lighter has a cool silver tone, fine wave-pattern engraving and softly rounded sides, with Cartier PARIS clearly marked on the base. The texture really caught my eye, and this elegant, unmistakably Cartier look gives collectors plenty to notice at auction.

[Appearance]

A beautifully slim vintage Cartier lighter finished in silver-tone metal. The body is covered with very fine repeating wave-pattern engraving, while the narrow polished borders give the design a clean contrast. The rounded profile also feels very characteristic of elegant vintage pocket accessories.

There are fine scratches, rubbing and small marks from normal use, especially around the base, top and edges. Some discoloration and signs of age are also visible around the ignition mechanism. That said, the engraved pattern remains crisp across most of the body and still catches the light nicely.

The base is clearly engraved “Cartier PARIS” and numbered “13291H.” I always like seeing these markings still clean enough to read—they add a satisfying finishing detail to a vintage piece like this.
