Cartier - Oval - Pocket lighter - Silver plated

This slim Cartier lighter has a bright silver tone and a finely engraved repeating geometric pattern that really catches the light. I always enjoy this kind of detailed metalwork, and the original Cartier box plus clearly marked base give collectors plenty to look at at auction.

[Appearance]

A slim vintage Cartier lighter with a silver-tone finish and an attractive repeating geometric engraved pattern across the body and lid. The narrow rounded profile is especially elegant, and the dense engraving gives the surface a nice tactile look without being too flashy.

There are scratches, rubbing, discoloration and small marks from age and use. Wear and oxidation are more noticeable around the ignition mechanism, lid interior and bottom edges. Still, the engraved pattern remains nicely defined across the body, and the overall vintage character suits this piece very well.

The base is clearly marked “Cartier PARIS,” “SWISS MADE,” and serial number “23774B.” These crisp identifying marks are always a satisfying detail on an older Cartier lighter.
