Medsan presents Moonlit Waterfall Carp (月夜の滝の鯉), a 40×40 cm giclée on canvas, signed by the artist, edition 1/1 from 2026 in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
There is only one in the world - Edition 1/1
On this square format, Medsan makes a carp leap out of the water: the body arched to the left, the head turned upward to the right, the clear eye wide open, two slender barbels floating near the mouth. The fins and tail open in broad black strokes, and the water it has just left rises in dark waves at the bottom of the frame, speckled with droplets that fly to the edges.
Inside the carp's body unfolds a nocturnal landscape: a midnight-blue sky studded with stars, a white crescent moon, gray cliffs from which a waterfall falls into a clear river. On the right-hand rocky spur, a small two-tier pagoda overlooks the void, a few pines clinging below. In the upper left, the cartouche MEDSAN in deep blue; in the lower right, a red square seal. Everything sits within a range of indigo, black and gray on a cream background. A river ascent halted mid-leap.
A sober and ample piece, ideal for adding a Japanese touch to the interior of a collector who cherishes deep blues.

On Catawiki, his pop works still appear under the name Medsan, but they belong to the Popsan universe.
