Dish - Enamelled bronze - Meiji

Very beautiful Chinese decorative plate in bronze and cloisonné enamel, dating from the early 20th century Meiji period.
The piece features an elegant multi-lobed form reminiscent of a flower, particularly decorative.

The central medallion, on a remarkable turquoise blue background, is adorned with a butterfly in flight among flowers and foliage.
The wide border develops a rich radiating motif of stylized floral patterns, rendered in a beautiful polychrome palette blending pink, blue, green, red and cream tones.

The piece retains its original articulated metal tripod system.
