【Product details】
A distinctive modern bronze flower vase made in the style of traditional Edo-Meiji periods for ikebana display. The piece has an unusual triangular section, widening gracefully towards the base and giving it a strong architectural form.
The upper section is decorated with archaistic geometric motifs, including a key-fret border, together with stylised side handles. The dark brown bronze surface features an attractive aged-style patina with areas of verdigris, while traces of red pigment or lacquer-like decoration remain within parts of the design.
The vase is accompanied by its wooden storage box, with a label identifying it as a bronze triangular flower vase.
In good condition with intentioned surface wear, patina, verdigris, and rubbing to the red decoration, giving it a refined classic character. Please examine the photographs carefully for the details.
