This is a slender bud vase (ikebana single-flower vase) crafted in the Takaoka Doki tradition, one of Japan's foremost centers for cast metalware. The piece features a bottle-shaped silhouette with a long, tapering neck rising from a rounded, pear-shaped body, finished in a deep, mottled green patina that catches the light beautifully across its glossy surface.
The vase stands 18.8 cm tall with a body diameter of approximately 6 cm, making it well suited for displaying a single stem or a small, minimal arrangement. The base is neatly finished with a narrow foot ring, and the interior of the tall neck is glazed in the same rich green tone.
