Description from the seller
Oleksii Gnievyshev (*1991 in Kyiv, Ukraine) is a professional artist and has been living and working in Germany since 2014. He studied at the Kyiv Academy of Arts and, over many years, developed his own realistic painting technique, based on his “System of Tension Lines.” Since 2008 Gnievyshev has been active internationally on the art market. His works have been shown in numerous exhibitions, galleries and art fairs in Germany, Italy, Great Britain and the Netherlands, including Discovery Art Fair Cologne, ART MUC Munich, Arte Padova, in Milan as well as in the JMES WORLD Museum Berlin and the SKM Galerie Leipzig.
His works are in private and public collections. Content-wise, he mainly engages with the connection between humans and nature, mythology, emotions, and the inner human world.

In 2016 I launched a joint project with Sarkis that consisted of three paintings in total. He acted as patron and ideological initiator of the project. The artistic execution, the style, and the composition come entirely from me.
