Fender Stratocaster produced in Corona, California (USA) in November 2002 and made as a Limited Run in 78 units to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Sam Ash of New York, personally selected by me in-store before the final closure for its sound that is incredibly above average.
The guitar has exclusive specs for the Limited Run and is stamped both inside the body and on the neck plate. It features a rosewood fingerboard (not pau ferro like current models), maple neck with figured wood, and has already beautifully darkened with time. The body is ash in the sought-after Olympic White / Pure White 3-ply combination.
It is equipped with the biflex truss rod, a 22-fret medium jumbo fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, and the American Vintage Tremolo with a 6-screw design.
