The “originale multiplo” is a unique artwork conceived in a limited number of variants. To obtain an original multiple, the artist makes biffature on the surface of the silkscreen support and variations in the color and form of the collage materials in such a way that each sheet yields a work different from the previous one. Each piece thus effectively constitutes the equivalent of an original work.
